On October 27, GKN Aerospace hosted a community meeting to announce its claims program which provides up to $100 million to compensate eligible residents and businesses affected by the mandatory evacuation in May.
Claims may be submitted online at www.GKNGGClaimsProgram.com. For questions about the claims program or assistance submitting a claim, community members can call EY’s dedicated support line at (657) 526-7470, available Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm PT. Assistance is available in English, Vietnamese, Spanish, and Korean. For those unable to submit a claim online, a staffed claims center will be available to provide in-person assistance.
GKN also outlined its court-approved safety plan, including upgraded equipment and technology, improved operating and emergency procedures, enhanced employee training, and independent oversight.
